Young guitarists pay tribute to ten years of the Ciutat d’Elx Guitar Competition
The Ciutat d’Elx International Guitar Competition held its tenth edition with a tribute concert in the Claustro de la Biblioteca de San José, bringing together winners of previous editions of the Premio Calendura.
Javier Llanes, winner of the first prize in 2010, performed works by Bach and Giuliani. The review highlighted his excellent technique and the solidity of his performance.
The concert was conceived as a tribute to the young winners who had taken part in the competition during its first decade of history.
